ARRIVAL OF NEW BEGINNINGS
Congratulations!!!!!!How exciting!!!!! Having a baby is the most exciting time in your life . Getting used to having a brand new person to care for, to love and cherish is the most rewarding moment in anyone's life. It is a very special time regardless if it's your first baby or second or even your last. They are all uniquely special and as fast as those early days go, it deserves to be celebrated and documented. Adjusting to having a brand new tiny person is not easy and sometimes, moments slips away. Why not let me stop it for a second and give you memories to treasure for a life time.
My newborn studio is in Oban and I cater for all highlands, You will have full access to all my props, backdrop, headband, bonnet, wraps and more. Most mum contact me after their 24 weeks scan to book due to the limited number of spaces available each month. My sessions are baby led, and completely custom used to suit you and your baby.
BOOKING YOUR SESSION
Newborn photography sessions are limited to a small amount of slots each month. I do encourage people to book when they are still expecting, the best time is usually after your 20-week scan. I simply pencil your due date in my diary then as long as you keep me up to date when baby arrives, we schedule your session then. A non refundable £99 deposit is required to book your session, Booking is only confirmed after this is received. The outstanding balance of your chosen collection must be paid before or on the day of the session. Session will not take place till a remainder of your balance has been fully completed . You may upgrade to other collections after viewing your images in the online gallery. £99 non refundable deposit will be deducted from your chosen package

BABY'S FIRST YEAR PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE
Your baby’s first year is one of the most special year in a child's life. The changes happen so quick and fast with many major milestone; first smile, rolling over, sitting unaided, crawling, first words, sleeping thought the nights (fingers crossed), possibly first steps (hide the keys, haha) and this list goes on and on.They dramatically change physically too. Your tiny baby is no longer that tiny curled up newborn you held in your arms the day you brought them into this world, they are now ONE.
Watch me Grow photography package encompasses 3 sessions within your baby’s first year being the prefect way to document their changes with images you’ll treasure a for lifetime.
NEWBORN
This is baby's first session and takes place between 5-14days

SITTER/MILESTONE
This is the second session and its scheduled when baby is between 5-9months when they've mastered sitting up unaided or mastered the act of crawling.

CAKESMASH/SPLASH
Wohoooo!!! Baby is one year old. The big finale of the session. Starts off with a nice portrait session, then a messy fun cakesmash session and a nice splash bath.

FAQs
WHEN DO I NEED TO BOOK A NEWBORN SESSION?
The best time to book is usually after your 20 week scan. I simply pencil your due date in my diary and wait for the arrival of your little one. Once they are born, we can schedule your session.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH BABIES TO GET THAT PERFECT NEWBORN IMAGES?
Between 5-15days old. At this age they are very curly, squishy and very sleepy giving that perfect newborn look.
I WANT MY PARTNER AND CHILD/CHILDREN TO JOIN IN THE SESSION
All my sessions include partner and siblings except the fully wrapped newborn package
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON THE DAY OF THE SESSION?
No baby is the same, so my sessions are baby-led. I will follow their lead, and make sure they are always completely happy and content. Sessions can take anywhere between 2-4 hours on average, with plenty of feeding and changing breaks If needed, and I take my time on each pose to ensure you have a beautiful gallery.
WHAT IF MY BABY COMES EARLY OR TOO LATE?
Do not worry, Babies are unpredictable, if baby makes an arrival earlier or later than your due date, all you need to do is let me know that baby has been born. I will fit you in regardless.
WHAT IF I'VE MISSED THE NEWBORN TIME SCALE?
5-15 days window works best but it's certainly not a requirement. I understand every mum and baby is different that's why I'm flexible and can photograph babies up to 2 months, however it is important to note that babies are alert at this point and not all poses can be guaranteed.
WHERE DO i COME FOR OUR SESSION?
I have a warm home studio at Ariogan, Upper soroba, Oban. All my newborn session take place here.
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
I always suggest neutral colours like a simple black, white or grey, tank top for mom and a matching plain tee for dad with jeans. Mom/dad and baby shots are close up so most of what you wear will not be shown.
For Siblings, a simple white or grey tee or tank with jeans and bare feet. Please remove their socks and shoes at the start of the session to get them used to it. For little girls please avoid hair accessories unless they are very small and a natural colour.
