Is life casting safe for my baby?
Absolutely. I use a gentle, baby-safe moulding material that captures every tiny detail while keeping your little one comfortable. Every appointment is baby-led.
When is the best time to have life casting done?
The earlier, the better! Tiny hands and feet change soo quickly during the first year. Standalone life casting appointments are available for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old.
When will my keepsake be ready?
Every cast is individually poured, refined, hand finished and professionally framed in my Oban studio. Please allow approximately
6-8 weeks for your finished keepsake.
Can siblings be included?
Yes! Selected collections include siblings casts creating a beautiful keepsake that celebrates the bond between your children.
Can I choose the colour of my casts?
Yes. Every collection includes a choice of finishes allowing you to choose the style that suits your home.
What if my baby won't stay still?
Don't worry! Babies wiggle, that's completely normal. Every appointment is relaxed and baby-led and I'll work patiently to capture the best possible casts.
How long does the appointment take?
Most appointments take around 30-45 minutes. There's plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling your baby if needed.
Can I book life casting without a newborn photography session
Yes! Life casting can be booked as a standalone experience for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old.
If you've booked a newborn photography session with me, your baby's hand and foot casts are complimentary. You simply choose your favourite frame from my studio collection during your appointment.
