Hello!!!!


Thank you for visiting my website today and wanting to know more about your photographer.

My name is Ada Okekeogbu and I live in Oban, Argyll with my 4 beautiful daughters (Amanda, Zara and the twins Kamsi and Kosi) and my husband Chuma. My husband is a GP and work round the beautiful Isles.

I am a practising Biomedical Scientist at the Lorn and Island Hospital, Oban and hoping to go full time with my photography in future.

My passion for photography started at a very young age when I was gifted a toy camera by my lovely mother. I would pretend to take photos all the time and would disrupt any moment in any event to pretend to take photos or like the young me would say "FREEZE THE MOMENT FIRST".

Over the years I had compact digital cameras and continued to take photos of scenery and my friends, fast forward to my first pregnancy with my daughter Amanda, I bought my first DSLR camera as I wouldn't let any moment of that baby pass by without capturing it all on camera. This continued with my second daughter, I had loads of beautiful photos of them and always showed them off on my social media. Unexpectedly I started getting enquiries to take photos of other children, with much encouragements from my family and friends with countless hours spent on online and in-person training Ada Okekeogbu Photography was born.

It has continued to thrive and grow ever since.
